Dorte Falengreen, Founder of By Falengreen, recently launched a new product line containing various shampoos, conditioners and hair treatments. Simultaneously, she had an essential message to spread deriving from her personal experiences with harmful chemicals. For this reason, she contacted Knowtheirname.
By Falengreen needed a social media strategy; a strategy that could generate brand awareness and promote the products to the right people in the right way, highlighting the right message. The aim was to target women in the age of 30-50 years-old, who are interested in avoiding chemicals and perfume. By Falengreen was already present on Facebook and Instagram, but needed a clear, distinctive and continuous marketing strategy to help her reach out to the target group.
Dorte now has a consistent style, attitude and presence on the platforms and she has, furthermore, created a small community of people interested in chemical-free and fragrance-free beauty products.
In only four months, the adverts were exposed more than 100.000 times reaching 60,000+ people of the target group. Out of these, more than 4,500 people interacted with the posts/adverts and created a strong community feeling for the Falengreen brand. In order to increase sales and make people aware of the newly launched website, we focused on sending the target group to the website. This resulted in 670 clicks with people viewing the products and browsing the website.
Finally, we created a strong community-like feeling on Instagram with 2-3 posts every week, including hair and product recommendations, inspiration, and how-to guides.
